Zusammenfassung: | A system for reconditioning a dental implant in situ has a buffer member and a drive member. The buffer member is operable in an open configuration in which the buffer member may be placed over a portion of the implant and a closed configuration in which the buffer member is in contact with the portion of the implant. The drive member is adapted to engage the buffer member such that rotation of the drive member is transferred to the buffer member. Rotation of the drive member with the drive member engaged the buffer member and the buffer member in the closed configuration causes rotation of the buffer member such that the buffer member abrades at least a portion of the surface of the implant. |
