Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to an acetabular prosthesis comprising an, in general, hemispherically shaped insert (1) having a crown (5) and an apex (4), this insert being provided, on its outer surface (2), with at least one fin. The invention is characterized in that the fin (6) has a face (9) starting from the crown (5) of the insert (1) and extending toward the apex (4) of the insert while forming a crest (10). This crest (10) has an, in particular, curved shape.
