The rotary internal combustion engine also includes a first vane assembly and a second vane assembly. A casing assembly houses the rotor assembly. In addition, a cooling system includes first and second sides. The cooling system houses the casing assembly. Furthermore, a first plate assembly mounts onto the casing assembly and the cooling system at the first side, and a second plate assembly mounts onto the casing assembly and the cooling system at the second side.
