Zusammenfassung:	A vehicle assembly includes a vehicle floor, a vehicle seat, and an automobile carpet. The vehicle seat includes risers mounted to the vehicle floor. The automobile carpet attaches to the vehicle floor and includes a topcoat and a backing coupled with and disposed vertically below the topcoat. At least a portion of the backing is removed from the topcoat to define a removed section disposed below and longitudinally aligned with the vehicle seat. A method for installing the automobile carpet and the automobile carpet are also disclosed.
