The epicardial and endocardial surfaces of the myocardium in the data sets are identified by automated or semi-automated border detection. A 3D image of the myocardium is produced from the defined surfaces. The 3D image illustrates the wall thickness of the myocardium and can be segmented into defined regions, with quantified measures made for each defined region. |
