Zusammenfassung:	A digital demodulating apparatus is provided capable of more reducing the power consumption of a demodulator by decreasing the performance of demodulation processing to a portion of a signal in which the signal condition is forecasted to be worsened. In the apparatus, when a signal status forecasting section has forecasted that the status of the received signal is worsened to a predetermined status due to a predetermined control of a controller, a demodulation controller controls an operation of at least one of circuit elements constituting the demodulator such that the performance of the operation decreases, in processing the portion where the signal status is worsened.
