Zusammenfassung:	The present invention generally relates to intelligent software agents. Each agent has an associated user interface panel through which the agent may be configured/customized. A remotely located user desiring to configure a particular agent issues a request for the associated user interface panel. The user interface panel may be provided to the user via, for example, a network connection. The user may then make the desired changes to the agent via the user interface panel. In this way, remote configuration of an agent is possible.
