Zusammenfassung:Method and apparatus for transmitting data from a first communication device to a second communication device, wherein the first communication device can assume at least two communication link states. The data is transmitted by the first communication device when the first communication device is in the first communication link state, as a function of the amount of data to be transmitted via a first jointly used communication channel or via a second jointly used communication channel to the second communication device. The data is transmitted by the first communication device, when the first communication device is in the second communication link state, via a third jointly used communication channel to the second communication device.
