Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	An ostomy appliance body side member or an ostomy appliance including an adhesive wafer having a first adhesive surface for securing the appliance to the user's skin, and a second surface provided with a hydrophobic adhesive. The part of the adhesive wafer surrounding the stoma shows balanced plastic and elastic properties allowing the hole of the ostomy appliance to be enlarged by rolling up the inner rim around the hole to form a torus. The torus is locked in the rolled up position by adhesion between the hydrophobic adhesive on the second surface and the first adhesive surface, the hydrophobic adhesive ensuring that the torus does not unroll even when the first adhesive surface is exposed to moisture, thereby reducing the risk of causing injury to or constriction of the stoma.
