The document includes content placeholders that link the content to locations within the database from which the content was retrieved. The appropriate content based on the changes made to the document is extracted from the document and is placed back within the database at the correct location. The database is repopulated such that the content within the database does not include all of the metadata required to produce the desired look and feel of a document that is generated using the content. |
