The first host converts a first serial signal into a first network packet, and then outputs the first network packet through a network. The adapter is connected to the network to receive the first network packet, and then converts the first network packet into a second serial signal complying with a universal serial bus (USB) format. The peripheral device is coupled to the adapter through the USB, and receives the second serial signal, so that the user can control the peripheral device at a remote site through the network. |
