The roof drain assembly includes a roof drain extending through an opening in the roof for receiving water collected on the roof. The drain has a predetermined maximum flow rate capacity. A flow restrictor is set on the roof, and surrounds the roof drain. The restrictor has a dam including at least one aperture. The at least one aperture has a variable flow rate capacity which is less than the maximum flow rate capacity of the roof drain. |
