Zusammenfassung:	A method for the analysis of the strength of a test specimen of reducible material that contains iron during the use of an arrangement comprises: a) arranging a test specimen between adjacent contact surfaces of first and second devices of the arrangement; b) continuously reducing the distance between the contact surfaces; c) compressing the test specimen between the contact surfaces while a measurement value that comprises at least the force that is applied to the specimen is collected; d) storing the measured value in a memory; e) increasing the distance between the contact surfaces; and f) removing the compressed test specimen. An arrangement for carrying out the method is also provided.
