Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a device for adjusting and/or verifying the axial force in screwed connections. The inventive device contains a control device for limiting an axial force acting between two force application elements of the screwed connection. To this end, the invention provides that the control device will record signal values from a measuring element whose electrical resistance varies according to the acting axial force.
