Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	A device comprising an air intake duct and at least one passive one-way air intake valve disposed in the air intake duct. There is also an actuator coupled to the one-way valve for biasing the one-way valve in a closed position. During operation, the one-way air intake valve is opened via an air induction force created by operation of an internal combustion engine positioned downstream from the actuator. This one-way air intake valve is closed after the internal combustion engine has stopped operating to prevent emissions of evaporated hydrocarbons from the engine through the air induction system. The valve can also be moved into a fail-safe position if the actuator fails but the engine is operating.
