Zusammenfassung: | A fuel pump prevents pressurized fuel from being pulled into a clearance between an outer circumference face of an impeller and an inner circumference face of a pump case, thereby allowing the delivery of the pressurized fuel from a pump body side to a pump cover side through through-holes of the impeller. Since a clearance C 2 between an impeller outer circumference face 16 p and a pump cover inner circumference face 39 c is made extremely small, the pressurized fuel is caused to pass via through-holes 16 c that communicate between an upper and an lower side of an impeller 16 . By this means, it is difficult for the pressurized fuel to enter the clearance C 2 , and it is possible to prevent the decrease in pump efficiency caused by pressure at the impeller outer circumference face 16 p and the vicinity thereof. |
