Zusammenfassung:	Gaseous or volatile substances which are either themselves odor-active or components of odor-active mixtures of substances are applied to fabrics. The amount of these substances adsorbed by the textiles is then determined. It is then determined what amount of these substances is desorbed again by the textiles upon storage. Comparison of the results which are obtained on textiles which had been finished beforehand with textile auxiliaries with the results of non-finished textiles enables statements to be made regarding odor-inhibiting properties of textile auxiliaries.
