Zusammenfassung:	A headrest apparatus for a vehicle seat includes a stay, a headrest frame and a headrest pad covering the headrest frame. The stay has a pair of vertical posts to be supported by the seat back of the vehicle seat and a horizontal rod connecting the vertical posts. The headrest frame includes a body portion, a connecting portion which hangs the body portion on the horizontal rod in a manner allowing the headrest frame to swing, and spaces between the body portion and the vertical posts to permit the swinging movement of the headrest frame.
