Zusammenfassung:	A shield for removable attachment to an eyeglass frame front having a pair of eyeglass lens holding frames and a pair of pivotal temples for holding said eyeglass lens frames on the head of a user to provide protection on the top, the bottom and the side of the eye. The sideshields are attached to the eyeglass lens holding frames in a detachable manner and are mounted such that they do not interfere with movement of the eyeglass temples so that the temples can be folded or, if they are spring-pivoted temples, can move outwardly a predetermined distance without substantial interference by the sideshields.
