Zusammenfassung:	An electrical device, and in particular a switching and controlling device for motor vehicles, has a housing, a printed circuit board arranged in the housing and fitted with electrical components, and, passing through a housing wall, a plug-and-socket connector which has a first part, connected to the printed circuit board and a second part, parallel to a printed-circuit-board surface and capable of fitting together with the first part. The first and second part of the plug-and-socket connector are arranged over the printed-circuit-board surface.
