Zusammenfassung:A radiation polymerizable liquid crystal composition capable of producing various types of cured products possessing optical anisotropy with varying physical characteristics suitable is disclosed. The composition comprises an intermolecular hydrogen-bonded product which has liquid crystal properties and is comprised of a compound (A) having one or more hydrogen donor groups and a compound (B) having one or more hydrogen acceptor groups, wherein at least one of the compounds (A) or (B) has a radiation polymerizable functional group. A cured product is useful as a coating material, piezoelectric element, nonlinear optical element, microlenses, photoconductive cells, actuators, polarizing plates, orientating films, optical deflection prisms, and various optical filters.
