Zusammenfassung:	An electroacoustic transducer having a housing with at least two parts, e.g., a cover and a bottom portion, and a diaphragm situated therein. Specifically and illustratively, an edge portion of the diaphragm is attached to one of two opposing edges of side walls of the cover and the bottom portion and, once the housing is assembled, is located between these edges. The edge to which the diaphragm is attached extends in a first plane defined by a central portion of the diaphragm or in a second plane parallel thereto.
