Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a door shell of a motor vehicle whose door housing is connected to a window frame consisting of a profile. To allow the door shell to be manufactured at favourable cost in a manner adjusted to the strains occurring, it is provided that adjacent to the upper region of the profile close to the roof, sheet blanks which widen the cross-sections of the window frame in the direction of the door housing are connected on both sides to the upper region are, in turn, connected to the door housing or the A and B pillars of the door housing.
