Date Jan. 23, 1997A single solenoid coil controls the movement of a first and second armature respectively. Each armature is connected to a valve element for controlling a fuel supply and for controlling the delivery of the charge respectively. During the period of energization of the solenoid coil, both the first and second armatures are actuated, with the above noted valve elements being caused to open and closed in a predetermined sequence.
