The flat structure with a dilatancy agent results in a significant improvement in the antiballistic effect and, in particular, a reduction in the trauma effect. The material finds special application for bullet-proof and splinter-proof vests and correspondingly for helmets. Moreover, the material of the invention can be used in clothing protecting against impact.
