Zusammenfassung:	A power transmission has an electro-hydraulic control for selectively establishing a plurality of clutches and brakes for controlling a plurality of planetary gearsets to establish the transmission drive ratios. During a vehicle stopped condition, two brakes are engaged to restrain rotation of two members of one of the planetary gear sets. This results in braking of the transmission output shaft.
