| Zusammenfassung: | In a magnetic head assembly in which a slider mounted with a magnetic head is fitted to a gimbal portion where lead wires are provided, the thickness of a gimbal portion where terminals of the lead wires are formed is formed thinner than another gimbal portion, and the terminals of the lead wires formed on this thin gimbal portion la are transformed so as to come into contact with terminals of the magnetic head. It is thus possible to connect terminals of thin film lead wires formed on a gimbal to terminals of a magnetic head mounted on a slider easily and surely. |
