Date Aug. 31, 1995The agent is the compound 3-{2-[4-(6-fluoro-benzo[d]isoxazol-3-yl)-3,6-dihydro-2H-pyridin-1-yl]-ethyl}-2-methyl-6,7,8,9-tetrahydropyrido [1,2-a]pyrimidin-4-one having the formula (I) I and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof; the process is based on the reduction of a selected pyridin salt by means of a metal borohydride; its preferred application is as an antipsychotic agent.
