A plug element is molded out of the housing and an illumination field is enclosed by an illumination field cover. Electrical equipment necessary for operating the fluorescent tube is provided. In the area of the separation line of the half-shells adjacent to the illumination field, at least one slot-shaped cutout for insertion of contact pins of the fluorescent tube is provided.
