Zusammenfassung:	An apparatus for loading and carrying cargo on the bed of a pickup truck includes a chassis and a drive mechanism substantially contained within the chassis. The chassis is rigidly attached to the bed of a pickup truck. The drive mechanism is connected to an arm and operable to move a distal end of the arm back and forth between an unload position near the back of the pickup truck and a load position above a forward portion of the bed of the pickup truck. The distal end of the arm can be attached to a carrier assembly which includes a rack designed to carry a specific type of cargo. A remote control unit allows the user to manually control movement of the arm between the unload and load positions.
