Zusammenfassung:	A pet watering device including a watering container having a reservoir cavity, a removable watering container lid having an opening therethrough, a water supply hose having a first and second end, and a valve for regulating the water level in the watering container. The valve mechanism includes a ball cock mechanism and a float which maintains the water level in the reservoir at a predetermined distance from the lid opening. Pets gain access to the water contained within the watering container through the lid opening. The water supply hose is connectable to a common water source such as a garden hose or faucet.
