Zusammenfassung: | An apparatus for the arrangement of patch panels (5, 48) which support optical waveguide plug systems, such as couplings or plugs, preferably within a distribution rack and patch panel cabinet (1) in 19-inch rack technology. Two horizontally running U-shaped rails (3, 4) are furnished in each case with longitudinal slots (30''', 40''') disposed with their openings facing each other and on top of each other in a vertical direction. The U-shaped rails (3, 4) are horizontally supported at their ends within the distribution rack and patch panel cabinet (1). The patch panel (5) is received with its longitudinal edges between the U-shaped rails (3, 4). The arms (3', 3'') of the upper U-shaped rails (3) are longer than the arms (4', 4'') of the lower U-shaped rails (4). The width (a) of the patch panel (5, 48) is larger than the open distance (b) between the two outermost edges (30, 40), disposed facing each other, of the arms (3, 3'', 4, 4') of the upper and lower U-shaped rails (3, 4), however smaller than the open distance (c) of the rail floors (30', 40') from each other. There are preferred the U-shaped rails (43, 43') which are part of a frame plate (41), and which are preferably an integral part of a frame plate. The frame plate (41) defines a rectangular recess (47) for receiving the patch panel (48). Distributor boxes (12, 12', 53) can be disposed at the patch panels (5, 48). |
