Zusammenfassung:This invention is directed to a shredding machine utilizing a lubrication process to increase the shredding capacity and service life of the machine. More specifically, the invention discloses a distribution manifold containing a plurality of uniformly dispersed pores which discharge fluid across the cutting elements of the shredding machine in a precise and even manner. The pore diameter and length can be chosen to provide for variable fluid discharge rates. Additionally, this invention relates to a lubrication discharge system which utilizes an actuating means that controls the discharge intervals over which the porous manifold releases the fluid. Provisions are included which allow for the lubrication discharge system to operate by use of a pump, or by the mere force of gravity in combination with a control valve.
