The router includes rotary components such as an armature of a drive motor, a motor shaft, a cooling fan connected to the motor shaft and a chuck for fixing thereto a cutting bit. An outer peripheral portion of the cooling fan is provided with a weight or a flywheel member to increase resultant inertial moment of the rotary component, to thus increase rotating power of the cutting bit.
