Zusammenfassung:	A yarn coating applicator includes a pair of yarn guide blocks (5a,5b) and an intermediate delivery plate (10). The guide blocks include an opening (6a,6b) which may be in the form of a slot at the edge of the guide block. The plate includes a supply means, such as an inlet, for providing the coating fluid to the plate and channels by which the treatment fluid is conveyed to fluid reservoirs in the applicator. The openings in the guide blocks communicate with the reservoir hole (15) in the plate to provide a yarn passageway through the applicator.
