Zusammenfassung:In one embodiment of the invention, multiple selections recorded on CD's are re-recorded on a video medium or on a digital audio medium together with the recording of markers. The markers are recorded automatically, typically in response to CD track changes and disc changes, to locate the re-recorded selections, during playback. The method and apparatus of the invention can employ PCM recording and can be practiced with consumer electronic equipment.
