Zusammenfassung:An improved cylindrical rotary screen having as a screen member a composite element comprising a radially inner layer of fine mesh screening supported on a radially outer layer of apertured, expanded metal sheeting. The radially inner layer of fine mesh screening is provided as a number of removable modular panels which are longitudinally slidable in and out of the open discharge end of the cylindrical screen. The rotary screen provides excellent filtration yet is simple to manufacture and maintain.
