Zusammenfassung:	A vehicle window regulator displaces a window at a faster speed when the window is near its fully closed position than when the window is near its fully open position. The speed is controlled by the meshing of the peripheries of two gears, each periphery defining a varying radius about its axis of rotation. The gear peripheries can be of different shapes, such as circular eccentric, elliptical and logarithmically helical. One of the gears is driven by a constant speed electric motor.
