Zusammenfassung:	The assembly comprises a vertical transportation pipe disposed in a multi-floor building and equipped at its lower end with a shut-off valve capable of opening and closing inside the pipe. Carriers charge a waste container into the vertical transportation pipe. A brake decelerates the falling speed of the waste container and it is fitted to the lower part of the vertical transportation pipe. A member controls the charge of the waste container into the vertical transportation pipe by operating individually a carrier. The method comprises operating a carrier (3) and storing in it a waste container (2) among the carriers disposed at floors of the building. The waste containers are charged into a vertical transportation pipe (4) disposed inside the building. The speed of the falling waste container is decelerated at the lower part of the vertical transportation pipe in case the charge waste container breaks a shut-off valve disposed at the lower end of the vertical transportation pipe.
