Conveyor device for transporting workpieces

Conveyor for transporting workpieces, in particular work-piece supports (80), provided with two parallel transport tracks (1, 2) with a transverse conveyor (3) located between them. The support frame of the latter has a fixed central element (90) on which are pivotally fitted two end pieces (100, 110). Each of these end pieces (100, 110) intersects an internally-located system of rollers (60 or 70) of a transport track (1 or 2) and spans the gap between the roller system (60 or 70) and an externally-located transport belt (4 or 5) of the transport track (1 or 2). A lifting device (410 or 420) is provided for each of the two end pieces (100, 110), by means of which said elements can be made to pivot into various different vertical positions in relation to the transport tracks (1, 2).
