Zusammenfassung:	An improvement is presented in a process for increasing the yield of production wells in crude oil reservoirs having inhomogenous strata, wherein an aqueous solution of a salt is injected through an injection well into the reservoir, without causing fracturing thereof, and then salt crystals are formed at stratum temperature by removing water from the solution. If desired, the salt crystals can be redissolved and reformed at other parts of the reservoir.
