Process for the manufacture of maleic anhydride utilizing catalysts reactivated with an ester of orthophosphoric acid in the presence of water

A process for the reactivation of vanadium-phosphorus-oxygen catalyst with alkyl esters of phosphoric acid and water is disclosed. The catalysts are useful for the manufacture of maleic anhydride from C4 hydrocarbon benzene feedstock.
