Date Jan. 22, 1981.A numerical control device having a non-volatile, large-capacity magnetic bubble memory and a volatile, high-speed integrated circuit memory as memories for storing machining program data. Machining program data which has been stored in the magnetic bubble memory is transferred to and stored in the integrated circuit memory through an interface circuit by introducing power from a power source, the interface circuit functioning to administer the transfer of the data between both of the memories. Numerical control processing is executed by allowing a processor to access the integrated circuit memory.
