Zusammenfassung:	When affixing the display screen to the cone and upon evacuating the display tube, the display screen and the cone are subjected to temperature treatments in which stresses occur in the display screen which might cause fracture of the display tube. In order to reduce the probability of fracture, during the temperature treatment measures are taken which infuence the temperature distribution over the display screen and the cone in such manner that the occurrence of stresses in the display screen is counteracted.
