Zusammenfassung:	A series of bicyclic imidazole and imidazoline derivatives, including their non-toxic acid addition salts, are disclosed. These particular compounds are useful for combatting ectoparasite and helminth infestations in animals, especially sheep and cattle. 2-(2,3-Dimethylphenyl)-2,3,5,6-tetrahydroimidazo[2,1-b]thiazole represents a typical and preferred member compound. Methods for preparing all these compounds from known starting materials are provided.
