Zusammenfassung: | An electronic ergometer for cardiac arrhythmia patients is disclosed, and it is capable of determining and indicating the magnitude of power developed by an individual. In addition, it can indicate the power at which a cardiac arrhythmia occurs. In one embodiment of the invention, the electronic ergometer is capable of storing the magnitude of power developed by the patient at which the cardiac arrhythmia occurred. The device consists of various electronic components encased in a simple housing attached to the belt, or other clothing, of the patient. It is used by the patient during physical activity, in order to monitor the work and power of the patient. In addition, since an electrocardiogram sensor is provided, the unit sounds an alarm when a cardiac arrhythmia occurs. This advises the patient to cease his working and to rest. |
