Zusammenfassung:	A method for manufacturing a dentifrice containing dispersed speckles or bits therein includes converting a gel or paste dental composition into flowing stream or ribbon form, directing a stream or curtain of speckle or bit particles onto the ribbon of dentifrice, to which such particles adhere, and controlling relative feed rates of the dentifrice and the speckles, so that there is produced a dentifrice containing the distributed speckles in desired proportion. Also described are apparatuses for carrying out the process.
