Zusammenfassung:	Metal parts having yokes with two or more body portions, used for example for universal joints for automobiles, are manufactured by pressing a solid metal rod material from one end into a chamber formed by two opposing dies, the other end of the rod being urged against an impression formed in one of the dies to divide the rod material into two or more body portions, and extruding the divided body portions into cavities in the one die extending parallel to the pressing direction.
