Zusammenfassung:A parallel drive shaft arrangement for rail vehicles wherein the output shaft of the electric motor is arranged parallel to the axle. The electric motor effects a driving of the axle through a gear arrangement and a toothed coupling. One side of the gear arrangement is supported on the axle and both the gear arrangement and the motor are connected through pivot levers to the vehicle frame. The electric motor is secured to the gear housing through a rubber-ring spring device surrounding the toothed coupling.
