Zusammenfassung:	This invention relates to oriented polyester shaped, molded, or formed objects having improved ultraviolet stability and to a process for producing the same and to compositions used in making such objects. More particularly, the invention relates to an oriented linear polyester film, fiber, foils, sheets, and other shaped, molded, or formed objects prepared from polyester compositions containing multichromophoric ultraviolet stabilizers which when oriented provide objects having improved weatherability. Multichromophoric ultraviolet stabilizers are those stabilizers which contain two or more moieties which, if isolated from one another, absorb a portion of the ultraviolet spectrum between 280 nm and 400 nm or an aromatic ester comprised of one or more of the above moieties and which on absorption of light the ester rearranges to a moiety which absorbs between 280 nm and 400 nm.
